We have something to be excited about actually in Calm Down It’s Melbourne….We hone in on the arts! All of them, we have Art Festivals at Wickham Park, we have Musical Arts in many forms, performances at several auditoriums, centers, and colleges. We have beach art at Front street park, and Indialantic a few times a year. There is the Melbourne Municipal Band, and the Orchestra. There are You Tube videos to take a gander if you choose. Most community events are free to attend, but donations always welcome to continue their efforts.
Because we are a diverse community from all corners of the world, our Arts Community reflects the same and has much to offer in uniting us all as we learn how to live on the Space Coast. You may be from Nebraska, but your child attends band camp and meets their new BFF from Manhattan. It could happen. My favorite lunch spot has taught me a lot about the D.R. that I absolutely wouldn’t have learned otherwise. The key is, getting out there, volunteering, showing interest in your community and attending these performances to enhance your life with others!
